COVID-19 UPDATE: As a result of increased volume of shipments across the country, Canada Post has posted a delay warning on their main website, with the latest update as follows:
Canadians should anticipate parcel delays for the foreseeable future, even as Canada Post delivers at record levels. As Canadians continue to ramp up and diversify their online shopping, Canada Post is responding to unprecedented parcel volumes while maintaining important physical distancing measures in all our facilities. Processing record parcel volumes in plants that were never designed to keep people two metres apart takes more time.
This has impacted the on-time delivery records of Party Things, as our company relays on the posted delivery dates from our shipping suppliers.
As a result, we can not guarantee the delivery of the parcels on the posted dates. Delays of 2-3 days are easily expected and the XpressPost and Priority services are unfortunately, also been impacted.

How much does my shipping cost?
Shipping rates are calculated and imported from Canada Post's published rates, according to the volumetric weight of each parcel.
Our Discounted Shipping Rates are displayed on top of all options for shipping. They are based on Canada Post calculated Expedited rates, minus our Order-Value discount. The discount we apply to the standard Expedited rate, is dependent of your order value, meaning that all orders receive a discounted shipping rate, however the larger the order, the larger the discount on the shipping rate and most large orders qualify for free shipping.
When will my order arrive?
We typically ship within 24 hours or one (01) business day after receipt of the order and confirmation of payment, order might take longer depending on stock availability.
Delivery times are displayed next to each post service option. If an item is out of stock and unavailable for shipping, we will contact the customer upon order receipt to notify them or arrange other options.
When a rush delivery is required, the customer needs to select the appropriate shipping method at the checkout page. The date of delivery is also specified before payment is processed.
Upon shipping, the customer will receive a shipment confirmation e-mail that includes the parcel tracking number.
Can my parcel be shipped to a different location?
We can ship a parcel to an address different than the billing address. The Shipping Address and Billing Address (as well as all customer information fields) must be filled in by the customer during checkout.
Our website DOES NOT auto-correct or edits in anyway ANY of this fields. It is important that shipping and billing addresses are entered correctly to ensure the safe and proper delivery of a parcel to its destination. Party Things is not responsible for errors on customer-entered shipping information.
Can anyone receive my parcel?
Party Things tracks each one of our parcels until it is delivered to your door. It is our standard to allow Canada Post mailman to drop off the parcel at a residence front door. Otherwise, mailboxes are typically used for delivery.
If you prefer not to have your parcel dropped if you are not home, but rather be carded for pick up at your nearest Canada Post office, please let us know on the comments when checking out. You can also request a signature upon delivery, for which you will be required to provide photo ID.

Yes, we do ship to any PO Box address and rural areas through Canada Post. Keep in mind that delivery times are usually a bit longer.
Party Things is happy to quote on special packs and assortments of merchandise. If one or several products you need for a special order are not available or you need a larger quantity than what is on stock at any given time, we will order from our suppliers and consolidate one shipment, unless back-ordered item is unshipped 2 weeks before the holiday. Allow 5-7 business days for out of stock items. Party Things will confirm shipment date at the time we receive your order. For large / special orders, please contact us in advance.
